Goa, Oct. 25 -- The Goan environmental short film Act To Achieve, directed by Mario Pimenta, has been officially selected for screening at the Egyptian American Film Festival (EAFF). The festival will be held at the Center for the Arts in Staten Island, New York, from October 31 to November 4.

The film, which highlights pressing environmental issues, represents Goa on an international platform, showcasing the region's creative talent and commitment to raising awareness through cinema.

Mario Pimenta expressed his excitement over the selection, stating that the recognition encourages more filmmakers from Goa to explore socially relevant themes and reach global audiences.
