Goa, Oct. 21 -- A GoaMiles taxi driver, identified as 27-year-old Purushottam Kale, was allegedly restrained and assaulted by an unidentified individual at Khalchawada, Arambol, on October 18 following a dispute over passengers.

According to police, the accused verbally abused Kale using foul language and damaged his vehicle by punching the side window. The altercation reportedly occurred when Kale arrived to pick up passengers.

A case has been registered, and further investigation is underway under the supervision of PSI Abhishek Chodankar of the Mandrem Police Station.
