Goa, Aug. 26 -- Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant on Monday confirmed that there are currently no restrictions on visiting waterfalls in Goa. However, he urged tourists and locals to exercise caution and stay alert to changing weather conditions.

"The safety of visitors is paramount. While there are no prohibitions, it is important to follow the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) weather advisories and adhere to safety guidelines when planning trips to waterfalls," CM Sawant said.

Authorities have stressed that sudden rainfall and slippery terrain near waterfalls can pose risks, and visitors should take necessary precautions to avoid accidents.
