Goa, July 18 -- In a shocking development in the Goa University paper leak case, the accused Assistant Professor attempted suicide by jumping off the Sadolxem Bridge in Canacona. The dramatic incident unfolded on Thursday, prompting a swift response from Goa Police, who managed to rescue him just in time.

The accused, whose identity has not been officially disclosed, was already under investigation for his alleged involvement in the recent exam paper leak that has rocked the university.
