Goa, July 17 -- The Goa Tourism Department has issued a strong directive to all hoteliers, guest house owners, and homestay operators across the state, urging them to implement immediate measures to protect children and promote a safe and respectful working environment for women.

The move comes in response to growing concerns over incidents of child exploitation and workplace harassment reported within the tourism and hospitality industry. In its advisory, the department stressed the urgent need for strict compliance with legal provisions aimed at safeguarding vulnerable individuals, especially minors and female staff members.
