Goa, July 21 -- The Directorate of Transport has announced that the Mhaji Bus Scheme will be implemented across Goa from August 1, 2026. Eligible private stage carriage bus owners who wish to participate have been directed to complete the enrolment process by submitting the prescribed application form and necessary documents to the office of the concerned Assistant Director of Transport on or before the deadline. The department has urged eligible operators to complete the formalities in time to ensure a smooth rollout of the scheme, which aims to improve public transport services across the state.
