Goa, May 9 -- The Goa Directorate of Civil Aviation has ordered controlled access through the old gate of Manohar International Airport following the operationalisation of National Highway 166S.
Under the new arrangement, entry through the old airport gate will now be restricted to government vehicles, airport staff, villagers requiring access to the local police station, and emergency services.
Officials said the decision was taken after the new NH166S connectivity route became functional, reducing the need for regular public movement through the earlier access point.
