Goa, Aug. 21 -- Transport Minister Mauvin Godinho said the government has completed an audit of rent-a-cab operations in Goa and will introduce new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to streamline the sector.

The new guidelines are aimed at curbing unauthorised rent-a-cab operations and ensuring greater transparency and accountability within the industry.

The government intends to bring in a more structured system for rent-a-cab operators across the state, with the new SOPs expected to provide clearer guidelines and improve regulation of the sector.
