Goa, June 6 -- Goa experienced widespread rainfall over the past 24 hours as the Southwest Monsoon maintained normal activity across the state, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

The highest rainfall was recorded at Old Goa (Ela), which received 81.8 mm between 8:30 am on June 5 and 8:30 am on June 6. Dabolim followed with 31.8 mm, while Dharbandora and Margao recorded 18.3 mm and 15.5 mm, respectively.

Panaji received 11 mm of rainfall, while Ponda recorded 9 mm during the same period. Several other stations reported light to moderate showers, contributing to the steady advancement of the monsoon across Goa.
