Goa, June 22 -- Goa recorded 0.81 inches of rainfall over the past 24 hours as monsoon activity remained active across the state, bringing widespread showers and cooler weather conditions.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for today and tomorrow, warning of moderate to heavy rainfall at isolated places across Goa.

Authorities have urged residents to exercise caution, especially those living in low-lying and flood-prone areas, as weather conditions could worsen intermittently. Motorists have also been advised to remain alert due to the possibility of reduced visibility and waterlogging on roads during periods of intense rainfall.
