Goa Rainfall Report
Goa, July 7 -- The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has placed Goa under a moderate flash flood risk warning as incessant monsoon rains continue to lash the state, raising concerns over flooding, waterlogging and inundation in low-lying areas.
According to the Regional Specialised Meteorological Centre (RSMC), New Delhi, both North Goa and South Goa are likely to face a moderate flash flood risk over the next 24 hours. The warning has been issued as a well-marked low-pressure area over east Madhya Pradesh continues to influence weather conditions across central and western India, sustaining widespread rainfall activity.
