Goa, Oct. 23 -- The Select Committee on the Goa Public Universities Bill will convene with college principals and management representatives on November 18 to gather input, said Minister Subhash Shirodkar. The proposed bill seeks to establish multidisciplinary public universities aligned with NEP 2020. Concerns have been raised regarding potential implications for Goa University. Committee member Vijay Sardesai cautioned against hasty decisions, noting that the new system is projected to be implemented only by 2035.
