Goa, Oct. 24 -- Goa Power Minister Ramakrishna 'Sudin' Dhavalikar has called for a reduction in the intensity of Narkasur competitions across the state, citing concerns over the glorification of the demon Narkasur and its negative impact on youth.

Dhavalikar highlighted recent incidents, including one where a car was set on fire with firecrackers, as evidence of the harmful influence of such celebrations. "The glorification of Narkasur is leading to destructive behaviour," he said.
