Goa, Aug. 31 -- Opposition MLAs, except GFP MLA Vijai Sardesai, stormed the well of the Goa Legislative Assembly after the Speaker disallowed a Question Hour query concerning No Development Zones under Section 39A of the TCP Act and Regional Plan 2021.

Leader of Opposition Yuri Alemao also raised a Point of Order, questioning the Speaker's decision. The situation grew tense as opposition MLAs raised slogans of "Shame. Shame." inside the House.

The protest followed the Speaker's decision not to allow the question, with opposition members objecting to the ruling and demanding that the issue be taken up during Question Hour.
