Panaji, April 11 -- Workers laid off from Sesa Resources Limited's mining operations at Digane Surla have warned that they will not allow any transportation of minerals until their demands are fulfilled.
The workers, expressing strong resentment over the layoffs, said they would block the movement of mined material from the site, escalating tensions in the area. The protest highlights growing unrest among employees seeking resolution of their grievances and clarity on their future employment.
Authorities are closely monitoring the situation as the standoff between the laid-off workers and the mining company continues.
