Goa, Sept. 1 -- The Goa Horticulture Corporation will sell coconuts to consumers at no-profit, no-loss prices during the upcoming Ganesh Chaturthi festival, continuing a practice introduced last year.

Corporation Chairman Premendra Shet said the initiative will help make coconuts available to consumers at reasonable rates during the festive season, when demand traditionally increases.

The Corporation had adopted the same approach during last year's Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations and will continue the initiative this year to support consumers and help keep prices under check.
