India, March 19 -- The Bombay High Court has granted anticipatory bail to a Junior Scale Officer of the Goa Civil Service in connection with a sexual assault case registered in October 2025.

The case was filed by the North Goa Women Police Station, based on allegations that the officer sexually assaulted a woman under the pretext of a false promise of marriage.
