Goa, Sept. 17 -- The Goa Government has issued a circular to regularize houses under its 20-point programme, providing a pathway for occupants to obtain legal status for their properties.
Under the scheme, homeowners will be required to pay one-twentieth of the fair market value of their property to complete the regularization process. The circular also specifies that vacant plots will be reverted back to the government if not already developed.
Officials stated that the move aims to bring clarity and legality to residential settlements while ensuring that proper valuation and documentation are in place. The government has urged eligible residents to comply with the scheme within the stipulated timeline.
