India, March 31 -- In response to ongoing disruptions in commercial LPG supply, the Department of Tourism, Government of Goa convened a high-level stakeholder meeting on March 31, 2026, to address fuel shortages and accelerate the transition to Piped Natural Gas (PNG) across the hospitality sector.
The meeting was chaired by Sandip Jacques, Commissioner-cum-Secretary of the Tourism Department, along with Sanjiv Gadkar. It brought together officials, oil and gas companies, PNG providers, and representatives from travel, tourism, restaurant, and shack associations.
