Goa, May 23 -- Goa Governor Rajendra Arlekar expressed confidence that India would emerge as a "Viksit Bharat" by the year 2047 while addressing participants at the National Youth Parliament Goa 2026.

Speaking to the youth at the event held in Goa, Arlekar said that although he may not personally be present to witness the country's progress in 2047, he strongly believes that India will achieve the vision of becoming a developed nation by then.

The Governor encouraged young people to actively participate in nation-building and play a meaningful role in achieving the country's long-term development goals.
