Goa Government Approves Rs.1,061 Crore Additional Allocation for 2026-27
PANAJI, Sept. 8 -- The Goa government has authorised an additional Rs.1,061.15 crore from the State's Consolidated Fund for the financial year 2026-27 under the Goa Appropriation (No. 4) Act, 2026.
The additional allocation will cover various departments and government services, with significant provisions made for key sectors including electricity, civil supplies, water resources, healthcare and information and publicity.
Among the major allocations, Rs.175 crore has been earmarked for Electricity, while Rs.100 crore has been provided for Civil Supplies.
The Water Resources Department has been allocated Rs.70 crore, while Rs.67.50 crore has been earmarked for Goa Medical College.
