Goa, July 5 -- The Goa Forward Party (GFP) on Saturday held a press conference in Curchorem, inviting residents to share their grievances directly with party president Vijay Sardesai at a public interaction scheduled for July 7, 2025. The initiative aims to highlight and address pressing local issues affecting the constituency.

Addressing the media, Balkrishna Hodarkar-though not a member of the GFP-voiced strong criticism over the current situation in Curchorem. He cited the deteriorating condition of roads and accused elected representatives in panchayats and municipal councils of failing to communicate effectively with the area's MLA. "Instead of solving problems, the MLA is creating more issues for the public," Hodarkar alleged.
