Goa, July 17 -- In a landmark move to enhance transparency and efficiency in government recruitment, Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant announced that all future hiring in Goa will be conducted through computer-based examinations with instant results. The new system aims to eliminate procedural delays and ensure fair, merit-based selections - a key pillar of the state's push for good governance.

The announcement came during the inauguration of the newly refurbished Goa Staff Selection Commission (GSSC) office at the Spaces Building in Patto, Panaji. Dr. Sawant was joined by senior officials including Dr. V. Candavelou (IAS) and Narayan Sawant (IAS Retd).
