Goa, April 15 -- The Goa Crime Branch has registered a First Information Report (FIR) against five individuals after a video allegedly showing a prostitution racket operating near Baga Beach went viral on social media.

According to officials, the FIR has been filed under multiple sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), and includes charges against the person who recorded and circulated the video. Authorities said the footage prompted immediate action, leading to the initiation of a formal investigation.

Police teams have been deployed to track down and apprehend all those named in the case. Sources indicated that efforts are underway to verify the authenticity of the video and uncover the full extent of the alleged racket.
