Goa, Aug. 6 -- In a continued effort to tighten immigration enforcement, Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has revealed that a total of 59 foreign nationals have been apprehended for various violations across the state.
Of these, 17 foreigners have been detained under the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO) regulations, while 37 were arrested for overstaying their visas. Additionally, five foreign nationals have been arrested in separate cases under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
