Goa, June 10 -- The Margao First Class Judicial Magistrate has issued a non-bailable warrant against former Goa minister Mickky Pacheco after he repeatedly failed to appear before the court in connection with two separate criminal cases.

The warrant relates to a 2009 casino assault case as well as a 2024 case in which Pacheco is accused of allegedly issuing death threats to Subhash Velingkar.

Following his repeated absence from court proceedings, the Judicial Magistrate directed the police to arrest Pacheco and produce him before the court for further legal proceedings.
