Goa, Aug. 8 -- Chief Minister Pramod Sawant stated the Goa government is actively exploring the possibility of permitting music events to continue past the existing 10pm curfew-potentially up to 1am-in shacks, restaurants, and open halls, particularly for weddings and tourism purposes.

Sawant emphasized that while the administration is keen to support tourism and local livelihood, the main challenge remains frequent complaints from environmental activists and local residents, who cite noise pollution and disruption.
