Goa, April 11 -- Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has said that wellness will emerge as a distinct sector within tourism in the coming years, expanding beyond the confines of five-star establishments.

He noted that businesses such as old-age homes and wellness centres are gaining prominence, while the healthcare sector is also witnessing steady growth. According to the Chief Minister, such initiatives have already begun taking shape in Goa, with participation from investors outside the state.
