Goa, Oct. 21 -- Goa Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant announced that chess will now be part of school and college curricula across the state. The initiative aims to help students develop confidence and enhance strategic thinking skills.

Speaking at the launch of the FIDE World Cup logo, the CM said the event has boosted tourism and strengthened Goa's global image, giving a positive push to the state's economy.
