Goa, Oct. 24 -- The Goa Cabinet has approved several key proposals across health, education, and mining sectors during its latest meeting.

Among the major decisions, the Cabinet accorded approval for the creation of four posts of Medical Officers in the Blood Bank at Goa Medical College (GMC) on a contract basis. It also sanctioned repair and renovation works of the Veterinary Hospital at Curti to facilitate the establishment of the new Government Veterinary College.

In another move, the Cabinet approved a proposal to amend the Goa Public Service Commission (GPSC) Regulation, 2020, aimed at streamlining recruitment and administrative procedures.
