Goa Cabinet Approves KPMG Extension for Tourism Master Plan; Barrage Project Shifted to Panchwadi
Goa, Oct. 10 -- The Goa Cabinet has approved the extension of services of KPMG Advisory Services Pvt. Ltd. under Phase II for the preparation of a master plan and tourism policy for the state.
Chief Minister Pramod Sawant announced the decisions while briefing the media after the Cabinet meeting.
In another key decision, the proposed construction of a barrage and a 50 million litres per day (MLD) raw water pumping station, which were earlier planned at Mirabag, will now be shifted to Panchwadi.
The relocation was confirmed by Sawant following the Cabinet meeting.
