Goa, July 24 -- The Goa Barge Owners Association has announced its new Executive Committee for the 2026-27 term. The committee assumed office on June 27 and held its first meeting on July 24 at the association's Vasco office. Mahendra (Mayur) Parsekar has been elected president, with Derrick Vales as vice-president and Rahul Naik as honorary secretary. The committee said it will focus on strengthening the inland barge industry and addressing members' concerns.
