Goa, May 11 -- Members of the Goa Animal Liberation Movement observed Mother's Day in Panjim with an awareness campaign urging the public to protect cows and adopt compassionate lifestyle choices.

As part of the initiative, activists highlighted the importance of kindness towards animals, especially cows, which they described as symbols of motherhood, care, and nurturing.

The organisation appealed to people to consider plant-based and other sustainable food alternatives instead of consuming beef and other animal products.

During the campaign, members interacted with the public and spread awareness about ethical treatment of animals, animal rights, and the need for a more humane and environmentally conscious way of living.
