The match between Goa and Karnataka in the Vijay Merchant Trophy Elite (Under-16, three-day match) cricket tournament began on Monday at the RDCA ground in Raipur. Goa were bowled out for 160 runs in 55 overs in their first innings. Karnataka then asserted its dominance by reaching 154 runs without loss in 33 overs at the close of play. Karnataka trails by just six runs. Goa won the toss and elected to bat first. Opener Adeep Miskin scored 68 runs off 62 balls with 11 fours and 2 sixes.
