Mapusa, Aug. 21 -- A Mapusa JMFC court has extended by three days the police custody of a woman security guard associated with the Goa Human Resource Development Corporation (GHRDC) in connection with a drug-related case at Colvale Central Jail. The accused was produced before the court, which granted the extension to allow police to continue their investigation. The case concerns alleged drug-related activities linked to the prison. Police are expected to question the accused further as part of the ongoing probe. The court's decision allows investigators additional time to examine the allegations and gather relevant evidence.
