Navelim, June 18 -- Navelim MLA Ulhas Tuenkar, along with Minister Digambar Kamat, on Thursday inaugurated a garbage collection point at Rumdamol, a location long identified as a garbage black spot. The facility has been developed by the Goa Waste Management Corporation as part of efforts to strengthen waste management infrastructure in the area.

Speaking on the occasion, Tuenkar said the new collection point will provide residents with a proper facility to dispose of waste responsibly, discouraging the practice of dumping garbage along roadsides and in open spaces.
