Goa, May 23 -- Subhash Velingkar has sparked fresh political debate in Goa after making serious allegations against the BJP and late former Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar during a Marathi Rajbhasha Samiti meeting in Panaji.

Addressing the gathering, Velingkar alleged that during Parrikar's leadership, the BJP had fielded six candidates under what he termed "collusive circumstances." According to him, these individuals allegedly did not have any strong ideological connection with the party but were still given tickets for political reasons.
