Goa, Aug. 15 -- Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, addressing the Independence Day celebrations, said the freedom to think, speak and express oneself comes with responsibility. Stressing the importance of putting national interest first, Sawant said, "the nation comes first" and urged citizens to exercise their freedoms responsibly. He called on people to uphold their duties while enjoying the rights guaranteed to them in a democracy. Sawant's message focused on balancing individual freedoms with civic responsibility and contributing towards the nation's progress while respecting the responsibilities that come with being free citizens.
