RAIA: Fr Agnelo YSC, Paroda, scored a hard-fought solitary goal victory over hosts Ambelim Sports Club to emerge champions in the Cipriano Silva memorial inter-village football tournament organised by Ambelim Sports Club at Chinchinim Church ground, recently.

Fr Agnelo YSC dominated the first session of the match but missed scoring chances through Zsowell Fernandes and Savlon Fernandes. The winning goal for Fr Agnelo YSC was netted in the 48th minute by Livan Clement.

The winners and runners-up were awarded Rs 1 lakh and Rs 70,000 respectively plus trophies.
