Goa, June 5 -- Directors of the Farmers Producers Organisation (FPO) have warned that they may submit mass resignations on Monday if the recent increase in cattle feed prices is not withdrawn immediately. The directors alleged that milk producers were not consulted before Goa Dairy finalised the decision in coordination with the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB). They argued that the higher feed costs would place an additional financial burden on dairy farmers already struggling with rising expenses related to production and maintenance.
