Goa, May 10 -- The death of Dinesh Tukaram Gaude, initially believed to be caused by a bison attack near Bethoda junction, has now come under suspicion after the Forest Department sought a detailed police probe. Officials stated that their site inspection revealed missing hoof marks, no visible disturbance in nearby bushes, and contradictions in witness statements. The post-mortem report confirmed death due to haemorrhage and shock from multiple horn-related injuries. Authorities have requested verification of CDR and tower dump data of individuals linked to the case to determine whether any criminal angle may be involved in the incident.
