Goa, Aug. 11 -- A 40-year-old local fisherman, identified as Umesh Dabolkar, a resident of Nerul, is feared drowned after reportedly falling from a fishing boat near Sinquerim Beach.

The incident occurred while Dabolkar was reportedly fishing in the area. Following the incident, a search and rescue operation was launched to locate him.

Rescue personnel are currently conducting searches in the waters off Sinquerim Beach. Further details regarding the incident and the ongoing search operation are awaited.
