India, March 18 -- A fire broke out at the bustling Mapusa fish market, completely gutting three water tanks located on the third floor of the building. The damage has been estimated at around 1 lakh.

Fire personnel from the Mapusa Fire Station rushed to the scene and acted swiftly to bring the blaze under control, preventing it from spreading to other parts of the structure.

No injuries were reported in the incident, and timely intervention by the fire team helped avert a potentially larger disaster in the busy market area.
