India, Sept. 28 -- A major fire broke out on Saturday morning at a dental clinic located on the first floor of Mira's Prestige Apartment, 4th Ward, Colva, causing damage estimated at Rs 3-4 lakh.
The blaze, reported around 9.20 am, gutted electrical appliances and furniture including an air-conditioner, television, CCTV camera, printer, refrigerator and office equipment.
According to Gil Souza, Station Fire Officer (Margao), one fire tender with Sub Officer R.S. Khutkar and crew was deployed. The flames were brought under control by 10.50 am.
