Goa, Oct. 6 -- A major fire broke out around 3.30 pm near the Ribandar-Chorao ferry point, destroying several vehicles parked under a car shade. Fire tenders from Old Goa, Ponda, Panaji Headquarters, and Kundaim were rushed to the spot to bring the blaze under control. The cause of the fire remains unknown, though no casualties have been reported.
