Goa, Nov. 3 -- A fire broke out at a residence near the Bhaikade Government Primary School in Bhuipal, Sattari, on Monday, causing damage to household property before it was brought under control by fire personnel.

According to officials, the blaze damaged an electric scooter, a washing machine, and a shed adjacent to the house. Firefighters from the Valpoi Fire Station rushed to the spot and managed to contain the flames, preventing the fire from spreading to nearby structures.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident. The exact cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, though officials suspect it may have originated from an electrical short circuit.
