Goa, April 11 -- A fire broke out in a store room at Terminal 2 of Goa International Airport, damaging electrical items and appliances.
According to sources, the blaze was quickly brought under control using fire extinguishers available at the airport. No casualties were reported in the incident.
The terminal was partially closed for a few minutes as a precautionary measure while firefighting operations were carried out.
Authorities are expected to investigate the cause of the fire, even as normal operations resumed shortly after the situation was contained.
