Goa, July 7 -- In a decisive enforcement action, the Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) has shut down an unauthorized tiffin service operating out of a residential house in Britto Wado, Parra, following the discovery of serious food safety violations. The operation, run by a group from Bihar, was delivering nearly 300 tiffins daily to clients in Bardez and Pernem without any licenses or regulatory oversight.
A surprise inspection by FDA officials exposed the unit's blatant disregard for hygiene and safety norms.
