Goa, Aug. 1 -- The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has summoned Reliance Group chairman Anil Ambani for questioning on August 5 in connection with a Rs.3,000 crore bank loan fraud case that is being investigated under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).
The summons follow a series of raids conducted by the ED on July 24 at multiple locations linked to Mr Ambani and his associated companies. During the three-day operation, officials seized several documents and computer peripherals believed to be connected to the alleged financial irregularities.
The searches spanned premises in Delhi and Mumbai and targeted 50 companies and 25 individuals, including top executives from the Anil Ambani-led group. Over 25 people have been question...
