Goa, Sept. 9 -- The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Tuesday raided four locations in North Goa's Siolim constituency, intensifying its probe into land grabbing and fraudulent property deals. Searches were carried out at the residence of a sitting Panch member in Anjuna and a property in Assagao, both linked to disputed land transactions.

The action stems from multiple FIRs alleging forged genealogical records, manipulated sale deeds, and fake wills to illegally transfer prime land in Bardez taluka. While names of all accused were not disclosed, political figures, land brokers, and officials are believed to be part of the nexus.
